Girlfriend Gets Jealous Of The Nu-Dity In Game Of Thrones And Ban BF From Watching It

A man reveals that his girlfriend banned him from watching Game of Thrones because she's jealous.

Many people all over the world are obsessed with this TV show. As diehard Game of Thrones fans, we're still recovering from the mess and ruins season eight, episode 4 did to us. And if the show still haunts you, a fellow enthusiast needs your support.

This guy's girlfriend is jealous of the nudity in Game of Thrones. She even banned him from watching the hit series, arguing that she's "jealous" of the topless women.

The man took his issue on Reddit and explained his ordeal. He explains that he like watching the show, but his girlfriend won't let him. She even asked him to stop watching the show altogether.

The guy also said that the girlfriend had stopped speaking to him.

He was seeking advice, asking whether his girlfriend was being reasonable.

He wrote:

"So I watch Game of Thrones. My gf was watching it for the first time last night. I woke up to her ranting about the series saying, 'There's nothing but tits in the series."

"She then started shitting on me and saying that's the only reason I watch it. I told her I do not get turned on by that, and then I said, 'You're getting jealous of me watching a TV series.' She said, 'No, I'm jealous of the tits."

"Also, she has made me watch Magic Mike with her before, so I think she's pushing some double standard. She won't talk to me now. Am I in the wrong here?"

He then ended the post with a critical message:

"EDIT: I don't want spoilers."

As you'd expect, comments came flooding the forum:

One Reddit user wrote:

"That's a new level of jealousy. I'm in awe yet saddened by your situation. You're definitely not in the wrong."

It's clear that some people don't really understand the difference between 'advice' and 'plain bragging.'

One guy said:

"I will never understand this kind of petty jealousy in relationships, especially if the relationship is otherwise healthy and secure."

"I think part of it is that I'm just not a jealous person so I don't get it. But me and my fiancé watch GoT together and actively discuss who's hottest. I wouldn't have it any other way."

A forum that started as a post about "girlfriend getting jealous for Game of Thrones" took a "relationship advice" turn, with people sharing the dramas they've faced in their relationships.

This guy's story was troubling, though:

"My ex-girlfriend used to pester me to find out what celebrities I thought were attractive, but considering the primary time I said one she then refused to watch anything with them in and hated it when I did, I stopped."

"Eventually, she convinced me she'd mellowed on it, and I settled for saying that of 2 I prefer if she gave me choices, the same thing happened with them."

One person responded to the post with a bit of clear advice:

"She needs to grow up. Do not cave in or alter your behavior for this. Do not humor this. Or where does it end? No female friends, that's where it ends. If she's jealous, that's her problem."

"TL;DR: no, of course, you aren't in the wrong."

Some even advised the man to end things claiming:

"It only gets worse from here bro, get out while the getting's good."

Let's hope this Game of Throne fan makes a rational decision and gets a chance to complete watching the TV show.
