It was never the end for Harry Potter stories! J.K. Rowling has announced that new Harry Potter eBooks will be released in June.
The novelist of Harry Potter series, J.K. Rowling, is providing her fans with a new look into the magical, wizarding world.
Rowling launched Pottermore website in 2011, an immersive site that has grown into an enormous e-commerce and content platform.
And after the New York premiere of ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ in 2018, the author announced that there’ll be no other Harry Potter story soon.
But according to Rowling recent announcement, new Harry Potter eBooks will be released this summer, by the end of June.
‘The digital platform of Wizardry World,’ Pottermore, reveals some few details on what we should expect in the new stories.
The New Harry Potter stories will be available online, and all of them will focus on the classes and life at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry.
The stories involve the lessons about the care of magical creatures, astronomy, defense against dark arts, potions, and herbology.
Pottermore website states:
“Prepare to delve deeper into the rich history of magic (be it our own Muggle history, or the magical world created by J.K. Rowling) with this new series of eBook shorts, inspired by the British Library exhibition and its companion books, Harry Potter: A History of Magic.”
New Harry Potter stories will ‘take you back in time once again to learn about the traditional folklore and magic at the heart of the Harry Potter stories.’
The website also adds:
“In addition to exploring the origins of magic through history and folklore, the eBook shorts will also feature notes, manuscript pages, and charming sketches as previously seen in Harry Potter: A History of Magic."
The titles for the four eBook stories include:
Harry Potter: A Journey Through Care of Magical Creatures
Harry Potter: A Journey Through Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts
Harry Potter: A Journey Through Divination and Astronomy
Harry Potter: A Journey Through Potions and Herbology
The books are in addition to seven other stories following ‘The Boy Who Lived’ that were released between 1997 and 2007.
Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts, and Potions and Herbology will be published on 27 June. The other stories will be released soon after.
